You add a name. We pray for those on the list in our own ways. Prayer, reflection, intention, or silence according to each person’s beliefs or traditions.
Submit a name to be included in the Registry.
No stories, requests, or additional details are collected.
When you add a name, it becomes part of the Registry as a whole.
People who choose to do so include the list in their prayers, reflections, intentions, or moments of silence, in their own way and time.
How It Works
Why
This Prayer Registry exists as a quiet place to hold names.
Across cultures and traditions, people pray for others together. Sometimes that is done one by one, sometimes as a group, and sometimes by simply holding a list of names in prayer, reflection, intention, or silence.
This Registry exists to support that shared act of remembrance without telling anyone what to believe, how to pray, or what should happen.
What People Do with the List
The names on this Registry are prayed for as a list.
People who choose to do so may include the entire Registry in their prayers, reflections, intentions, or moments of silence, in whatever way feels right to them.
The Registry does not record how prayers are offered, who offers them, or what is believed to happen. It does not track participation or outcomes.
Its only role is to care for the list of names so they can be held and remembered together.
Notice for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:
This Prayer Registry is independent and unaffiliated and is not intended to replace
or serve the function of sacred temple practices maintained by the Church.
